Here are your building blocks, babe

 


Think of it this way, that habbits are building blocks for a lifestyle.

Then close your eyes and think through what are your daily habbits?

How do they help you to build the lifestyle you want?

If they don't currently do that so well, remind yourself that you can start learning a new habbit with some simple steps.

You can choose the slow, simple route, that takes more work but most often helps you to build something more sustainable.

Think about it, in which area you really want to grow, for your simple steps.

I've shared before how a few years ago my steps were to put on my running shoes for 21 times.

And on a better day to go for a little run, sometimes just for two minutes.

Through some dedicated, simple work with myself I built a new habbit of running, eventually.

Yes it was hard, and the struggle was in my mind.

"BUT I am NOT athletic!" 

This echo was haunting me almost every time.

Yet with time, repetition and mind sweat I declared to myself: "I love to move my body." 

And that "I put my mind into changing my lifestyle in this area, with this simple step".

I could see how identity and habbits walk hand in hand.

What building blocks do you want to choose?

Can you see what new identity you are forming?

And which lifestyle it helps you to establish?

It is so beautiful, how your hard work with yourself can help you in resetting how you view yourself.

That's something worth working for, little yet powerful steps at a time, when you just keep going and loving yourself this way.
