This week, while our move between two continents gets closer, I am reminded of this one thing.
How important it is for me to recognize what I will afterwards cherish.
And that way I can make space for it.
I can lean on those opportunities.
I will say yes to this and many no's for the other stuff.
A lot of our lives are spent decluttering.
And mostly in our minds.
When things are heavily shifting you see it even more clearly.
You cannot just let life go forward on autopilot.
You'll need most of your brain actively working.
Even when things stay the same, you and I can choose to stand up.
To choose what we give our attention, energy and affection.
Those things will thrive in our lives.
Even if the start was muddy and hard.
Usually planting new things is like that.
But the garden of your inner world will at some point come to fruition.
You'll be able to taste the sweetness of what you cultivate in your lifestyle.
In your everyday actions, your rhythms and your tiny habits.
There's more stored up for you and to find your way there, sometimes you need to give up on a lot of other good things.
For the great thing to have space to grow, your focus to thrive and lots of compassion when the days are still young.
There's so much power in the small beginnings.
Love,
Pia
