Dream and create

What's something you can dream and create?

Right now my season is changing and I'm starting to full-on dreaming for my new season.

Why do I find it helpful?

It reminds me that I have the power to create the lifestyle I live in.

No matter what the season is.

I can make small changes, add new adventures, even if just little ones, to fulfill my heart with the good things.

At the moment I'm dreaming of hiking in nature with my boys.

I was a scout at their age and sleeping in the forest was something I did regularly with my team.

I have such sweet memories from those trips.

How we sat around the bonfire.

Someone made a pancake that flew on the roof of the tiny cabinet we slept in.

We made beds outdoors from spruce and pine branches.

The starry sky was phenomenal to watch before falling asleep.

All the laughs while the sounds of nature surrounded us.

I dream of creating small adventures for me and the boys in the woods, teaching them to make the sailors knot.

They love to carve wood and we can make sticks for the bonfire to heat the sausages and to make the pancakes.

Maybe my husband loves to join us, if we sleep in the tent.

Or maybe not, haha.

He prefers the bed instead of thin camping mattresses.

The best treat after all the nearby hikes with my boys would be this.

A family trip to Lapland.

No matter what season it is, all of them are stunning up North.

I've loved skiing on the never ending tracks and snowboarding down the curvy sloped.

The amount of snow is just breathtaking.

And not to mention the views.

Reindeers friendly eyes following you when you pass their flock.

Only the mosquitoes make me think twice going in there during Summer, ha.

But while the sun never sets, the energy levels I feel in my body are just unreal.

Can you see, how dreaming is about selling stories for yourself.

Stories of sweet memories.

Stories of what can be.

And stories of who you really are.

While you dream, you powerfully create something inspiring for your coming days.

You set yourself up for success.

And what I mean with that success, is for your heart and actions to align.

The small dreams of yours that are already there but may not have a strong voice.

They get their power back in your life.

Just like when you were a dreamy eyed girl, dancing on the field of flowers.

Dreaming of all the beautiful things your mind could reach.

You tap into what can be, from a powerful place.

Come dear, let's dream a little each day.

And we'll see where it takes us.

Our minds were blown away if we saw in full how powerful seeds these dreams are for our mind and our lives.

Love,

Pia

Unstuck from the past

Journey of unlearning looks sometimes like this.

You and I are getting really clear what thoughts we believe to be true.

Especially about ourselves in the light of our past.

When tough things happen it's easy to start believing they mean something bad about us.

I recently caught a few of these kinds of thoughts I strongly believed in coming from my past.

They triggered fear, anxiety, even physical weakness.

I found myself lying down on the couch under the blanket, just deeply breathing.

And can you believe it?

The memories that were haunting me came all the way from twenty years back.

In my triggered stage I believed I was still that same person and could never change.

What helped me with letting go of the version I believed I still was and had been during some really tough times was this.

Looking at the person I am becoming within the next five years.

I've created a mental picture of her.

So I went back to imagining her in front of me.

How she relates to her past, is available for others and how she is empowered.

Just looking at her faded away the clouds.

I could start seeing once again how those tough times I went through have formed unique strength and grit within me.

When you think about it, can you clearly see what kind of strength your past has equipped you with?

How much wisdom have you gained?

The process of surrendering yourself to feel the ugly emotions still coming from your past can be so empowering.

You survived and now you're so much stronger.

You can help others who are now going through similar scary things that you've already combatted.

You can be a safe space for someone today because you understand.

Hugs,

Pia

Building the lifestyle you truly love

It's so easy to believe the thought that this is the only way to build the lifestyle you really truly love.

To trash everything in an instant, that you have now.

There's a better way.

Slow and low takes you farther in a more healthy way.

And it's the best way to take people with you.

To slowly introduce the new direction you're taking.

To have good conversations about what you really want.

What really matters to you.

To make space for you and your growth, while others have space around you.

You getting really clear about what matters to you is a slow process, if you're starting from the numbing and people-pleasing like I was.

And it's okay.

You can build a beautiful lifestyle that looks like that when you let it all marinate.

You try out little twists and you sense how they look like for you.

You do more of those things that really resonate.

While the lifestyle you build is resonating with who you are growing to be and choosing to become is the best match.

Being vulnerable with yourself can feel scary at first.

But when you get into the habit of living out of that vulnerability, it's just easier to see your path.

It might go the opposite way than what others expected.

And that's when clarity serves you so well.

You being clear about it is the key.

You know this looks like you now.

It's just beautiful.

And it's part of the recipe for a beautiful authentic life for you.

Ask sincere questions from yourself.

Don't be afraid of them shaking the status quo.

Trust your gut.

Go deep before you go further.

With clarity you go far and enjoy the journey.

While still living in a blur, make those honest questions your nest.

Let the conversation surprise you.

Take in the surprises.

Life is like the ocean.

Ride the waves, no matter how crazy.

Take it all in.

And let your soul be still in front of it all.

Go into the silence when the stormy day sets.

And come out as the sun rises again.

As the new you.

Bold and unapologetic.

Gentle and firm.

Steady with calm.

Let the deep soul-dive spread your wings to fly you where you only once dreamed to be.

Yet, let it start slow and low.

Unedited self-talk

what is my biggest fear?

rejection.

abandonment.

how does it affect me?

faking.

paralysis.

what is my ultimate remedy?

adoption.

self-love.

See, it is simple.

You probably saw what I was after, when I had this raw, unedited talk with myself.

It is simple, yes.

But not easy.

It took me such a long time to be honest with myself.

Because it's painful.

But healing begins with truth and that pain it brings.

There's no new freedom without a fight.

But.

I am, you are, we are - worth it.

Fight your fight.

Become the you that's stirring inside.

Be bold in loving yourself, the healthy way.

You're worth it.

Could you take a moment to ask yourself something like I did?

And to listen, this time.

Listening was hard for me. But with a little patience, the freeing truth came out, and I could feel it was real.

How it stirred something inside of me.

Something that's afraid to be seen.

Just try. You never know what you'll tell to yourself. And what it can do to you.

It's the first step.

Just like when the man stepped on the moon for the first time.

Picture of me after a workout, just as a reminder. It's okay to live the unedited life, not hiding the raw yet radiant beauty us all carry. It's seen through our brokeness, when we stop hiding stuff and just own it. Ugh.
